Southern Peanut Growers Conference
The Southern Peanut Growers Conference is held annually in July. The conference provides growers with information on peanut production, legislative issues, marketing and promotions. In addition to the conference sessions the event focuses on the family by offering a ladies program and a kids program coordinated by Edgewater Beach Resort. The event also hosts an annual golf tournament on Friday afternoon. The 13th annual conference was held July 21-23, 2011 at the Edgewater Beach Resort, Panama City Beach, Fla. The 2012 conference will be held July 19-21, 2012 at Edgewater Beach Resort in Panama City Beach, Fla.
